Inspiration

Once, I was awed by the beauty of nature..
Such lively and refreshing lakes..
Such calm and cool forests..
They are seething with animals, running around like little kids..
Mother Earth made all this!
She should have arrayed in green gown,
glittering with glamour among her children..
We, homosapiens, were delivered by her once upon a time..
She created green land out of the ice age;
she made our lives happier with abundant resources;
she pampered us even if we did not cherish the things she gave us..

Suddenly,
She had a thought..
"Should I teach my children a lesson?"
after mumbling to herself,
she decided...
to be cruel to be kind..

First, she gave us a small warning.
omitting the fact that we might suffer...
Rivers flood the villages in China, Netherlands and Vietnam.

"Well, that should teach them a lesson!" smiled Mother Earth..
However, after some time, her children became naughty again..

She then decided to cane us.
Famine that occurred in Japan, India, Ireland and North Korea indicated that she was fed up with us..

"But why? Why my dear children, you're still disobedient?"

Drying of lands and farms happened in the high-populated country, India and China.
Yes, drought came in a blink of an eye.

"You stupid children! How many times do I need to punish you??! I've told you not to cut down soooo many trees! You want to make me die of suffocation in excessive carbon dioxide gas??!"
she howled, throughout our houses...
At that moment, buildings collapse, bridge falls, lands split...
It was an earthquake!!
Where were the humans?
Citizens in Japan, China, Egypt, Syria, India, Portugal, Iran, Italy, Pakistan, Chile, Turkey, Peru Armenia and San Francisco went to the other side of the world....
This great and deadly impact rose the death toll over billions..
Terrible, isn't it?

Now, Mother Earth is getting older and older..
But still,
she's stammering beside our ears,
hoping that we can listen carefully to her..

This is how my story ends.#

Do you see that???
The world is facing hardships, it is hoping that we could save it!
What we could do is just 3R's..
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!
Support campaigns that go green,
Do anything you can to alleviate the problems faced by our earth!
the 60 Earth Hour had brought us a step forward,
it was a success!
Even so, we must not be too happy about the tiny mini little triumph.
We have to work even harder!
To be frank, I have neither green fingers nor having green meals..
But,
I opt to have a "green" heart..
Do you want to join me?
We'll fight for the lives of people suffering in disasters,
and the continuous nature for the future generation.

Perhaps, reducing plastic bags..=)

So.. What do you think?
